As part of Commonwealth Day celebrations in Wellington, New Zealand, past Mayor Celia Wade Brown organised a walk along part of the capital city’s route. COVID-19 restrictions limited the scale of the party but dignitaries able to attend included the Deputy Mayor, representatives of the Commonwealth Youth Association NZ, the Pakistan and UK High Commissions and a walking advocate from Living Streets Aotearoa. All enjoyed being guided round 10/30 of the places along the Wellington Commonwealth Walkway. Everyone found something new and they all agreed to work together on a bigger event in 2022.
