Benzies Plantation

Anguilla / Americas

The Benzies plantation is a typical Anguillan boiling house and curing house from the 18th century, of which the ruins, overgrown by trees and scrub, can still be seen over Shannon Hill on the north coast.  It is possible that this now ruined factory once produced sugar.
