The Nairobi Botanical is a project of the National Museums of Kenya that seeks to showcase the diversity of vegetation in Kenya. The garden was established in 1990 and is free to enter.
A nature trail meanders through the gardens with sculptures adding to the curiosity the garden offers. The garden is organised into thematic displays highlighting different classes of plants found throughout Kenya.
