Crocus Bay is a picturesque and tranquil white-sand beach close to The Valley, on the north-west of the island, known for swimming and snorkelling. There is a protected harbour for yachts and fishing boats. Historically it is where the French invaded in 1745. The sand is of high quality, the views are excellent and from here Anguilla’s magnificent sunsets can be enjoyed.
The beach itself has no villas or hotels though accommodation is available above the bay at The Brooklands Island View Apartment. The daVida restaurant is said to be one of the finest on the island, and Roy’s Seafood is popular for its seafood, beers and a long happy hour.
