Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre dates from the 18th century and was originally a residence for the General Officer Commanding the British Navy, built by the British. It is now a cultural centre, built within the original stonework. It contains a state-of-the-art multimedia exhibition, entitled ‘Reflections of the Sun’ which moves through a timeline of the island and highlights prominent figures from Antigua’s history.  It affords a fine 360 degrees view over English Harbour. The remains of a 1780s house and a gun platform are in the grounds.
Snacks are available and it is a popular wedding venue.
