Edwin Imboela Stadium

Edwin Imboela Stadium is a multi-use stadium on Nsunzu Road. It is mainly used for football matches and serves as the home for Nkwazi Football Club and Kafue Celtic Football Club. The stadium holds 6,000 people.  It is named after Edwin Imboela, who was the first policeman in Zambia to hold a law degree from UNZA, and was a keen high jumper and promoter of sport.  He believed that it was important for the police force and for women to know the law in order to abide by it.  He recommended sport to keep everyone fit.  His daughter, Saboi Imboela (born 1977) is a singer and political activist.
