The Jersey Museum and Art Gallery, at the Weighbridge, is housed in a finely restored 19th-century building. It charts the history of Jersey from Neolithic times, through World War II to the modern-day. It is the main museum and art gallery on the island. There are displays related to history, archaeology and the art of the island, with changing displays. Here it is possible to explore Jersey’s history from 250,000 years ago and shows how Jersey has developed over the centuries. It even explores the television series, Bergerac, filmed on the island.
