National Gallery

Singapore / Asia

The National Gallery is an art museum which was opened in 2015 to house the largest collection of Singaporean and Southeast Asian art in the world – over 8,000 artworks. The gallery is housed in two national monuments at 1 St Andrew’s Road: the Old Supreme Court Building (constructed in the colonial style in 1932) and the City Hall (built between 1926 and 1929).  Both buildings have been beautifully restored and transformed into the modern existing gallery. In addition, the exhibits inside are constantly updated, meaning there is always something new to explore.
