National Museum

Cook Islands / The Pacific

The National Museum was opened in 1992 in order to preserve and display the cultural history of the Cook Islands, with the mission of extending the cultural heritage of the islands.  The contents are general, and being a relatively new museum, some of the artefacts on display are replicas of items in other museums.  It holds regular exhibitions.
