National Museum of Montserrat

The Montserrat National Museum was built in 2012. This is a move away from the old tradition of converting old ancient buildings into museums. An example of this is the Richmond Hill Sugar Mill that functioned as a museum until it was closed in 1996. A large variety of artifacts are currently displayed at the Montserrat National Museum. The museum is operated by the Montserrat National Trust.
