The Seychelles Natural History Museum is located to the main post office in Victoria, Seychelles. It’s collection display sections on zoology, geology, botany and anthropology. The museum was established in 1964 to collect and preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Seychelles from past to present. Seychelles history is portrayed by the Portuguese Nautical Atlas of the Indian Ocean in 1519, the stone of Possession, one of the smallest statuettes of Queen Victoria and objects of cultural heritage interest that exemplify the traditions and modes of life of Creole ancestors. This site is a little gem that should be included on any visit to Seychelles.
