The Office of the President is at 53 KG 7 Avenue, in Village Urugwiro, a complex in the Kacyiru area. It was built in 1979 at the time of the 6th Franco-African Summit. Here the President entertains state guests. The President is His Excellency Paul Kagame (born 1957), who has held office since 2000.
