The Office of the Prime Minister is in the Administrative Office complex at Kimihurura. This is a 27-million-dollar building, given to Rwanda by the Chinese Government in 2019. It was formally handed over by Zheng Jianbang, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He said it marked the rapid growth of China-Rwanda relations. Diplomatic ties had been established between the two countries in 1971. The complex has three parts – an eight-floor structure in the centre with two wings.
