Sark Museum on Rue Lucas, is a small museum that covers the entire history of the island. There is an eclectic mixture of cultural and heritage memorabilia. It contains photographs of key island sites and has an important collection of memorabilia relating to the occupation during the Second World War. It captures the wartime experiences of both British and German people during that time. It has been praised for its very personal nature and human aspect. It tends to be open only in the afternoon.
