SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium was opened in 1988 and now features 700 species and more than 13,000 individual fish. It is located on the east side of Darling Harbour, north of Pyrmont Bridge. It has 14 themed zones including a shark walk, Jurassic seas, and a discovery rockpool. It was designed in the shape of a giant wave.
