Talava Arches

Niue / The Pacific

Talava Arches are reached through a cove and considered a magical place, so named because arches stretch across the rocks. There is a rope to help you climb down which adds to the adventure of reaching this site.  Once down, there is a lovely, clear swimming hole and you can walk across the reef to Talava Arch. These arches stretch across the whole cliff. This site is a great location to admire the views of Niue.  In addition, at the top, on Hio Beach, is Clifftop Fale a bar which is worth a visit.
