Sitting just on the edge of the Greenway and inside converted shipping containers sits a café, maker studios, bike hire and community garden referred to as The View Tube. Originally designed as a temporary pop-up community for the London 2012 Olympics, the popularity of the View Tube has lead to it becoming a permanent non-profit community venue. Greenway East is an independent café serving coffee and all day brunch open every day of the week from 9-4pm. V22 is an art organisation specialising in; showcasing contemporary art, creating public exhibitions, events and educational initiatives and providing artistic spaces for everyone from fashion illustrators to stop motion animators and botanical artists. Open Saturday’s from 12 – 5pm, passer-by’s can stop in and explore the artist’s workshops and have the opportunity to purchase some of their products. View Tube Bikes is the container to go to for all biking enthusiasts. People can hire bikes, participate in cycle training to gain confidence on bikes or even purchase their own bike to explore the rest of the Jubilee Greenway!
