Tumbalong Park is near Darling Harbour. It was designed using native Australian foliage incorporated with fountains as an urban stream. The name ‘Tumbalong’ is from Dharug as spoken by the Eora nation and means ‘place where seafood is found’. Tumbalong Park now spans 5 hectares. A large children’s playground area with swings, slides, a climbing frame, and a flying fox. There is a water park with little canals, dams and diversions, all enjoyable for children of all ages.
