The National Capital Exhibition is a small museum on Barrine Drive, which tells the story of Canberra as the capital city of Australia. It explores the people, events, history and design of this city, including the life and work of Walter Burley Griffin (1876-1937), the American architect who designed Canberra, working between 1912 and 1920, and his wife, Marion Mahony Griffin (1871-1961), also an architect.
The glass pavilion offers fine views over the lake and Capital Hill.
